The. Butler. Did. It - Jimmy's 56 Points Seals Comeback Win for Heat to Go Up 3-1 Against Bucks

Jimmy Butler's 56 is the most in Heat playoff history and is tied for fourth all-time.

In what felt like a do-or-die game for both teams, the Bucks found themselves going into the game with Giannis Antetokounmpo back in after missing the past two games due to a back injury. With a former MVP and DPOY in their midst, the Bucks were heavily favored to steal a game in the 305 and head back to Milwaukee with a tied series. But one player had other plans: Jimmy Butler.

After tying a franchise quarter-high with 22 PTs in the first, the next two quarters were on and off for the Heat, with the two-man show of Brook Lopez and Antetokounmpo dominating the undersized Heat, but it all built up to a fourth quarter where the Heat found themselves down 12 PTs with 8 minutes left to go.

From there, Butler took over and the 305 were losing their minds. The Heat defense were able to put a stop to the towering Bucks offense, with other key Heat players such as Kyle Lowry, Bam Adebayo and Caleb Martin showing up. Martin especially helped out offensively. Off a Butler missed three that would've put Miami up by one with 3:30 to go, Martin tracked the ball for an offensive rebound and sat in the corner with the former DPOY in Antetokounmpo guarding him. Signaling for the ball, a Butler assist sealed a contested long-two from Martin to close the gap within one and a Lowry and Adebayo trap led to a wide-open dunk from Butler that gave the Heat the lead and momentum and the Heat never looked back.

Long twos and rare threes from Butler gave the Heat a 3-1 series lead as they head back to Milwaukee and will look to close out against a motivated #1-seeded Bucks.
