Heat Bounce Back from Rough Stretch, Beat Warriors 116-109

The Miami Heat saw their bench and sharpshooters start a spark that led to them closing the game out.

The Miami Heat bounced back from a rough road trip from the West Coast with a win over the Golden State Warriors. Though Tyler Herro left early in the game due to a left eye contusion, the Heat bench stepped up tremendously. Sharpshooters Duncan Robinson and Max Strus came off the bench with 17 PTs and 24 PTs respectively. They combined for an efficient and much-needed 9-18 from 3PT-range. From that spark, the starters were able to step up and close out the game, with Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo coming alive in the second half with 23 PTs and 19 PTs. Though he had a slow first half, Kyle Lowry exploded in the fourth quarter, pouring in 13 PTs with 9 ASTs. The defense also stepped up, limiting Stephen Curry to 23 PTs as well as keeping their bench all to below double-figures scoring per player.
