The Miami Heat continue to show offensive sparks and manage to put a stop to a Raptors comeback.
The Miami Heat win their first game of the season after a late scuffle between Caleb Martin and Christian Koloko. After a fight for a rebound where Martin and Koloko got tangled up and saw Martin standing over Koloko, it spilled to the front-row seats as Martin tackled Koloko. Both players have been suspended for one game, as well as rookie Nikola Jovic, who came off the bench during the altercation. Prior to this, the Heat were winning steadily, with four of the starters scoring in double figures as well as Max Strus providing 20 PTs. However, after the fight, the Raptors saw life as they cut down a 24-point lead to six as they headed into the fourth quarter. The Raptors were led by Pascal Siakam (23 PTs) and Gary Trent Jr. (23 PTs) as they came back with 3PT-barrages. The Heat were able to hold on and finish the game with Jimmy Butler closing it out with free throws.

They rematch Monday night, Oct. 24.
